A Bit About Me

Clinician​Yulan Menzie-Hackney received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Bridgeport.. Yulan entered the mental health counseling in 2018 and has worked with populations with autism, anxiety, depression, PTSD and Bipolar. Yulan specializes with working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use and trauma. My therapeutic approach is integrative and often is individualized to the individual's needs. My therapeutic approach includes motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy and solution-focused therapy. Yulan worked with children, teens, adults and families and provides individual and family therapy and is an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.​​
