Juliana D'Alessio
Certified Grief Coach
If you’re here, something meaningful has brought you to this moment, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Grief can touch every part of your life. It can bring pain, confusion, guilt, longing, and questions that don’t have clear answers. It can change how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. You may be grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a future you expected, or the quiet ways life used to feel. Some losses are spoken openly. Others are carried quietly and alone.

As a Certified Grief Coach, trained through the From Grief to Gratitude Coach Certification Program and accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), my work is grounded in both professional training and deep respect for the personal nature of loss. I offer steady, compassionate support for individuals and families as they learn how to live alongside grief, honor what has been lost, and move forward without leaving love behind.

My role is not to rush you, fix you, or tell you how to grieve. It is to walk alongside you with steadiness, care, and compassion as you find your footing in a way that feels true to you.

In addition to my coaching work, I am currently pursuing advanced education in mental health counseling, allowing me to bring both present-focused coaching and a continually deepening clinical understanding to the grief support I offer.

What is Grief Coaching?
Grief coaching is a supportive process that helps individuals and families navigate the emotional, practical, and identity-shifting impact of loss. It recognizes that grief is not a problem to be solved, but a deeply personal experience that deserves time, understanding, and care.

There is no single way to grieve. Each person’s experience is unique, shaped by their relationship, history, values, and life circumstances. Grief coaching begins by creating space to acknowledge that uniqueness and to give yourself permission to grieve in your own way, without comparison, pressure, or judgment.

As we work together, we explore ways to honor the life, meaning, and legacy of what has been lost, while also gently addressing the emotions that can feel overwhelming or unresolved. This may include finding new ways to remember, integrating change into familiar traditions, and learning how to express and release grief rather than carrying it alone.

Grief coaching also supports the process of adjusting to a new reality. While life after loss is changed, it can still hold meaning, purpose, and connection. Together, we focus on building confidence in navigating life as it is now, allowing space for both grief and growth to coexist.

Grief coaching is not therapy and does not replace mental health counseling. It is present-focused, collaborative, and guided by your pace. The goal is not to forget or “move on,” but to learn how to live fully while honoring love, memory, and meaning.

Grief coaching supports you as you carry grief forward with intention, compassion, and care.
Pebble's Guide Through Grief
Children often experience grief in ways that are difficult to explain or put into words. Their feelings may surface through behavior, play, quiet moments, or questions that come and go. Pebble’s Guide Through Grief was created as a gentle, supportive resource to help children explore those feelings in ways that feel safe and accessible.

This interactive workbook invites children to engage with grief at their own pace through simple activities such as drawing, writing, reflection, and feelings check-ins. Rather than guiding children toward a specific outcome, the book focuses on helping them recognize emotions, remember loved ones, and understand that all feelings are allowed.

Pebble’s Guide Through Grief is intentionally flexible. Pages do not need to be completed in order, and children are encouraged to return to them whenever they feel the need. Some may want to talk while working through a page. Others may prefer to color quietly or reflect on their own. All of those responses are valid.

The guide can be used independently, with a trusted adult, or alongside grief coaching or counseling support. It does not replace therapy, but serves as a supportive tool to encourage emotional expression, normalize grief, and help children feel less alone as they navigate loss.

Designed for children ages 6 and up. Younger children may benefit from exploring the workbook together with a trusted adult.
